Install baseboard trim
Baseboard hides the gap between wall and floor and makes a room look finished. The videos here cover two approaches: butt joints with a simple layout, and mitered corners cut on a saw. Find the studs first with a stud finder and mark them, so you nail into solid wood.
Test-fit every joint, because walls are rarely perfectly square. A miter saw cuts corners fast, and your corner angle may not be exactly 45 degrees, so measure it. Fill nail holes, then caulk the top edge for a seamless line before you paint. Do it after painting the walls and after flooring goes in. It is a beginner to handy job with patience.
