Low water pressure
Before you re-pipe or replace anything, run simple tests. Is the pressure low at every fixture or only one? One fixture usually means a clogged aerator or cartridge. The whole house points to a partly closed main valve, a failing regulator or a pipe problem. The videos here start with those tests, then show how to adjust a pressure-reducing valve (PRV) and an expansion tank.
A pressure gauge that threads onto a hose bib shows the real number, and local code and your fixtures’ labels say what range is acceptable. See plumbing for related repairs, and how to shut off water, power and gas first.
